About Heal & Go

Heal & Go is a UK-based provider of medical-grade Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), delivering advanced treatment through a clinically governed, safety-led model aligned to Care Quality Commission standards.

We exist to bridge the gap between emerging therapeutic demand and the operational realities of modern healthcare.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is increasingly recognised for its role in supporting recovery across a range of complex and chronic conditions, from radiation tissue injury and non-healing wounds to neurological recovery and post-surgical healing. However, access remains limited due to the cost, complexity, and regulatory burden of delivering these services safely within existing clinical environments.

Our mission: to make medical-grade Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy safely accessible through a clinically governed, CQC-aligned model, enabling healthcare providers to deliver advanced treatment pathways while maintaining the highest standards of care, compliance, and patient outcomes.

HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY (HBOT)

HBOT delivers 100% oxygen inside a pressurised chamber, increasing oxygen concentration in the blood and tissues. This supports the body's natural healing processes and is used to aid recovery from injury, reduce inflammation and promote cellular repair. HBOT is recognised in clinical settings worldwide and delivered by Heal & Go within a safe, structured, clinically governed framework aligned to Care Quality Commission standards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about HBOT and how Heal & Go works.

HBOT is a medical treatment where a patient breathes 100% oxygen inside a pressurised chamber, allowing oxygen to dissolve into blood plasma and reach areas affected by injury or swelling.

HBOT promotes healing, reduces inflammation and fights infection. It is beneficial for wound healing, carbon monoxide poisoning, decompression sickness and certain infections. It is also being explored for sports performance enhancement and brain injury recovery.

You may experience ear pressure similar to flying or diving, which can be relieved by swallowing or yawning. Some people feel cool or slightly tired towards the end. Many find the experience relaxing and calming.

The most common side effects are ear or sinus pain and temporary vision changes. Serious complications such as oxygen toxicity are rare when HBOT is administered properly. Always discuss pre-existing conditions and current medications with a healthcare professional first.

Individuals with certain lung conditions (such as collapsed lung or pneumothorax history), recent ear surgery, a cold or fever should avoid HBOT until cleared by a doctor.

Sessions usually last 1–2 hours. The number of sessions required varies by condition and individual needs.

Before: You will be screened for contraindications; avoid smoking or nicotine beforehand. During: You may experience pressure changes; a technician will guide you on managing ear pressure. After: Some people experience mild tiredness or temporary vision changes that resolve quickly.

Bring water (recommended). Do not bring food. Avoid flammable items, makeup or products containing alcohol, petroleum or oils. Remove dentures, jewellery and other personal items before entering the chamber.

HBOT is generally safe but is not suitable for everyone. Always discuss your full medical history with a healthcare professional before starting treatment.

A prescription or referral is not always required, though some facilities may request one. A safety screening is conducted before treatment to ensure suitability.
